PRINT DESIGN & BRAND
IDENTITY
Branding and Identity
While Brand Identity has existed from the first time someone differentiated their
product or service from another’s. In today’s globalized, competitive business environment
it has taken on a different significance. Large and small companies often spend
a significant part of their budget on Branding related activities. It’s hard to
think of some of the better known brands without a visual image of it’s Logo, Typography,
Colour or Tag line. Try think of McDonalds written in a 10pt black Times New Roman
font, without the golden arches, red background and even Ronald McDonald popping
in. Today any of us involved in providing a service or a product, for profit or
not for profit, are going to end up branding or positioning ourselves even without
intending to. We like to spend time & energy understanding our client’s requirements,
as to how they would like to project themselves? Who’s their target audience? Where
do they see themselves five, ten or fifty years down the line? Before we hit the
drawing board, in an attempt to give our clients the Brand Identity Assets, that
will represent our client’s image for years to come. We look forward to working
with you to further help set you apart from your competition.
Print Design
From books to brochures to catalogs to magazines to annual reports all communication
today needs design. Design isn’t limited to images and graphic elements, we believe
typography is as important, and often overlooked. It’s hard to deny how much we
as consumers are influenced by how something looks & feels. A book that hasn’t been
read is always judged by its cover. And no book likes to be left standing on the
shelf, while it’s neighbors go in for reprints, often with a whole new look. Wouldn’t
you rather read something that’s easy to read, while the design compliments and
often accentuates the communication? A magazine or a book on a Sunday afternoon,
which someone spent a significant amount of time designing? An annual report where
visual elements & concise well layed out text communicate, summarize and are remembered,
rather than a word document of pages and pages of standard typeface text?
So do first impressions matter? Is it just what you say, or does how you say it
count too? Is it apparent why we love what we do?
We at Web Ink are always finding new ways to make communication real, and there
is a wide variety of what we do in print design, some are listed below:
